Croatia's second-largest city, Split is a great place to see Dalmatian life as it’s really lived. Always buzzing, this exuberant city has just the right balance between tradition and modernity. Step inside Diocletian’s Palace (a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments) and you’ll see dozens of bars, restaurants and shops thriving amid the atmospheric old walls.

Milna, Brac

Milna or as the Venetians called it “Valle di mille navi” (the bay of a thousand ships) is located on the north-west side of the island. The welcoming bays of Milna have always been favourite port to sailors sailing through the Middle Adriatic. Milna is still reputed as the most beautiful and the safest harbour of Brač.

Slatine, Ciovo

The picturesque village Slatine is a small fishing and tourist village situated on the north-eastern side of the island Čiovo, only 8km from Trogir. It lies on the coast of Kaštela bay, opposite Split and peninsula Marjan.
The island Čiovo is famous for its rich vegetation, numerous islands and little islands, stone, and gravel beaches.
